A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Fayette Church of the Nazarene on its Centennial.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Fayette Church of the
Nazarene on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary,
celebrated June 8, 2025; and

WHEREAS,
Recognition of this significant milestone is a fitting tribute to
Fayette Church of the Nazarene, for over the past century, it has
attained a praiseworthy record of service. The achievements of this
fine house of worship are a justifiable source of pride and an
excellent reflection not only on the church itself but also on its
devoted leaders, on its proud members, and on the Fayette community;
and

WHEREAS,
The source of many social, religious, and humanitarian projects and
programs, Fayette Church of the Nazarene has enhanced the quality of
life in the area since its inception in 1925, and its generous
contributions have earned it the gratitude and respect of the many
citizens it has so capably served. We are certain that in the years
to come, the church will maintain the tradition of spiritual
enlightenment that has long been its hallmark; and

WHEREAS,
The members of Fayette Church of the Nazarene have long been actively
involved in, and concerned about, the events in their area, and this
celebration offers them a unique opportunity to share their memories
and to reflect on the benefits of life in their close-knit community.
The congregation can, indeed, be proud of their church, for they have
built on the best traditions of the past to ensure a peaceful and
robust future; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend
Fayette Church of the Nazarene on its One Hundredth Anniversary and
extend best wishes for continued growth and prosperity; and be it
further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Fayette Church of the
Nazarene.
