A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Lake Anna Young Men’s Christian Association on its One
Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Lake Anna Young Men’s
Christian Association on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth
Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,
Celebration of this prestigious milestone is, indeed, a fitting
tribute to the Lake Anna YMCA, for throughout the last century, it
has achieved a remarkable record of service to the area. The
organization’s accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride
and an excellent reflection not only on the association itself but
also on its members and volunteers and on the community; and

WHEREAS,
Since its founding on February 13, 1924, the Lake Anna YMCA has
enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area, and its
generous contributions have earned it the gratitude and respect of
the many citizens it has so capably served. We are certain that as
this fine agency maintains its unfaltering dedication to service, it
will continue in the tradition of excellence that has become its
hallmark; and

WHEREAS,
All those associated with the Lake Anna YMCA are to be commended for
their foresight, commitment, and selfless donations of time, energy,
and ability far beyond what was required or expected. These fine
people have set an example of concerned and responsible citizenship
that is worthy of emulation; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate
the Lake Anna Young Men’s Christian Association on its Centennial
and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Lake Anna Young Men’s
Christian Association.
