A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Blake Eichhorn on placing first in his competition at the 2025 SCTP
Ohio Championships.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Blake Eichhorn as a 2025
Scholastic Clay Target Program Ohio singles champion; and

WHEREAS,
A dedicated member of his youth trap team, Blake Eichhorn is
deserving of recognition for his exemplary accomplishments in the
sport of trap shooting. A diligent and capable individual, he shot a
personal best 250 of 250 clay pigeons to win the title for his
competition at this year’s SCTP Ohio Championships. Indeed, his
noteworthy record of personal achievement stands as a hallmark for
others to emulate; and

WHEREAS,
Through his participation in sports, Blake Eichhorn has learned the
important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good
sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him
throughout his life. Through his outstanding efforts, he has inspired
countless individuals to excel in various areas of endeavor, and he
has set an example worthy of the highest praise; and

WHEREAS,
In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and
nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of
individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable
educational tool. With sports playing such an important part in the
development of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay
tribute to such an impressive marksman as Blake Eichhorn; therefore
be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Blake
Eichhorn on his state championship and salute him as a fine Ohioan;
and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Blake Eichhorn.
