A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Isabella Zahn as a 2025 Division III State Champion in track and
field.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Isabella Zahn on placing
first in the 200- and 400-meter dash and long jump events at the 2025
Division III State Track and Field Meet; and

WHEREAS,
Isabella Zahn’s accomplishments are truly noteworthy, for she has
clearly demonstrated her talent and perseverance, as well as her
mental and physical fortitude. A standout senior member of the
Coldwater High School girls track and field team, she has exemplified
all of the characteristics which are essential for success both in
and out of the sports world, including courage, integrity, and an
innate sense of the principles of good sportsmanship, and at this
year’s Division III State Track and Field Meet she not only secured
first place in the 200- and 400-meter dash events with times of 23.04
and 52.89, respectively, and the long jump with a leap of 18 feet,
8.5 inches but also helped the 4x400-meter relay team win first place
with a time of 3:53.94 and the Cavaliers finish first overall with a
combined score of 65.50 points; and

WHEREAS,
By developing such remarkable prowess as a member of the Coldwater
High School girls track and field team, Isabella Zahn has earned the
appreciation of her fellow athletes, the devotion of countless fans,
and the respect of even her most determined rivals. Her outstanding
record of achievement stands as a hallmark worthy of emulation, and
she has inspired many individuals to excel in numerous areas of
endeavor; and

WHEREAS,
Running is an event which requires exceptional stamina and natural
ability, and Isabella Zahn is to be commended for her commitment to
this demanding activity. In attaining her athletic goals, she has
certainly distinguished herself as a true champion, and her
contributions to the Cavaliers’ athletic program are sure to be
fondly recalled for many years to come; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud
Isabella Zahn on her state championship and salute her as a fine
Ohioan; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Isabella Zahn.
