A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Grace Alls as the 2025 Division I State Track and Field Champion in
the 400-meter dash.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Grace Alls on your
exemplary performance at the 2025 Division I State Track and Field
Meet; and

WHEREAS,
Grace Alls’ accomplishment is truly noteworthy, for she has clearly
demonstrated her talent and perseverance, as well as her mental and
physical fortitude as a runner. At this year’s Division I State
Track and Field Meet, she placed first in the 400-meter dash with a
time of 54.10 and helped the 4x200-meter relay team place first with
a time of 1:37.32, and she has exemplified all of the characteristics
which are essential for success both in and out of the sports world,
including courage, integrity, and an innate sense of the principles
of good sportsmanship; and

WHEREAS,
By developing such remarkable prowess as a member of the Pickerington
High School Central girls track and field team, Grace Alls has earned
the appreciation of her fellow athletes, the devotion of countless
fans, and the respect of even her most determined rivals. Her
outstanding record of achievement stands as a hallmark worthy of
emulation, and she has inspired countless individuals to excel in
numerous areas of endeavor; and

WHEREAS,
Running is an event which requires exceptional stamina and natural
ability, and Grace Alls is to be commended for her commitment to this
demanding activity. In attaining her athletic goals, she has
certainly distinguished herself as a true champion; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Grace
Alls on her recent distinction and salute her as a fine Ohioan; and
be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Grace Alls.
