A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
Logan Wilkins on winning a 2025 Division I State Track and Field
Championship.
WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Logan Wilkins as the 2025
Division I State Champion in the boys 110-meter hurdles; and
WHEREAS,
A diligent and capable individual, Logan Wilkins is deserving of
recognition for his exemplary accomplishments as a member of the
Fairmont High School track and field team. At the 2025 Division I
State Meet, he won first place in the boys 110-meter hurdles with a
time of 13.88 seconds, and his notable record of personal achievement
stands as a hallmark for others; and
WHEREAS,
Through his participation in sports, Logan Wilkins has learned
important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good
sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him
throughout his life. Through his outstanding efforts, he has inspired
many people to excel in various areas of endeavor, and he has set an
example worthy of emulation; and
WHEREAS,
In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and
nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of
individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable
educational tool. With sports contributing to the development of
countless youth, we are delighted to congratulate such a fine athlete
as Logan Wilkins; therefore be it
RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Logan
Wilkins on winning a Division I State Championship and extend best
wishes for continued success; and be it further
RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Logan Wilkins.
