A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Archbishop Carroll High School prepared presentation team as a
Technology Student Association TEAMS National Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Archbishop Carroll High
School prepared presentation team on placing first at the Technology
Student Association Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and
Science National Conference; and

WHEREAS,
A remarkable group of young academicians, the members of the
Archbishop Carroll High School prepared presentation team have
combined talent, enthusiasm, and confidence to establish themselves
as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable dedication, members
Leah Casas, Claire Jordan, Caleb Weitz, and Ella Westgerdes have
worked diligently to improve their skills in anticipation of the 2025
Technology Student Association Tests of Engineering Aptitude,
Mathematics, and Science National Conference, and as a result, they
secured first place and have earned the respect of many; and

WHEREAS,
The accomplishments of the Archbishop Carroll High School prepared
presentation team are a justifiable source of pride and an
outstanding reflection not only on the students but also on their
coaches, Mary Ollier and Laurie Fuhr, on their school, and on their
community. We are certain that the maturity and experience these fine
young people have gained through their participation in this event
will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; and

WHEREAS,
Competitive spirit and innovative effort have played major roles in
the development of our country, and the drive to excel is best
developed when youth are presented with trials that permit them to
test their skills, knowledge, and strengths against their peers. With
their vitality, intelligence, and positive outlook, the members of
Archbishop Carroll High School prepared presentation team have set an
example worthy of emulation. We encourage these young individuals to
continue to strive for excellence so that they may assume a
meaningful and productive role in our complex society; therefore be
it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the
Archbishop Carroll High School prepared presentation team on its
tremendous accomplishment and salute the members and coaches as some
of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Archbishop Carroll High
School prepared presentation team.
