A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Olentangy Berlin High School cheer team as the 2024 OHSAA
Division I Spirit State Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Olentangy Berlin
High School cheer team on winning the 2024 Ohio High School Athletic
Association Division I Spirit State Championship; and

WHEREAS,
A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the Olentangy
Berlin High School cheer team have established themselves as truly
exceptional competitors by combining talent and spirit with the
highest ideals of good sportsmanship. With admirable dedication, the
Bears have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in
their sport, and as a result, they won the 2024 OHSAA Division I
Spirit State Championship with an impressive score of 90.93; and

WHEREAS,
The achievements and leadership of the Olentangy Berlin High School
cheer team are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent
reflection on the members of the squad, their families, their school
community, and their coaches. Indeed, these athletes have developed
determination, perseverance, and camaraderie that they have displayed
proudly in all of their competitive endeavors; and

WHEREAS,
With athletics playing such an important role in the total education
of our young people, we are pleased to pay tribute to the Olentangy
Berlin High School cheer team for a job well done. The maturity and
experience that these exemplary young Ohioans have gained through
their participation in sports will greatly aid them in meeting the
challenges of the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the
Olentangy Berlin High School cheer team on its tremendous 2024 season
and salute the members and coaches as some of Ohio’s finest
citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Olentangy Berlin High
School cheer team.
