A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the New Albany High School boys doubles tennis team on winning the
2025 Division I State Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the New Albany High School
boys doubles tennis team as the 2025 Division I State Champion; and

WHEREAS,
The members of the New Albany High School boys doubles tennis team
have proven to be a talented and superbly conditioned duo, and
Jackson Clements and Abhinav Dandu have gained the respect of fans
and opponents alike for their spirited and highly motivated
performance. Throughout the season, each player worked diligently to
improve his skills on the court, and as a result, they accomplished
their goals, overcoming a tough pair from Sylvania Southview High
School by a score of 6-4, 6-4 to bring home this year’s Division I
State Championship; and

WHEREAS,
Known as a driven and determined doubles tennis team, Jackson
Clements and Abhinav Dandu have developed into a remarkably efficient
pair whose skill is equaled only by their exemplary display of
teamwork. They are a credit not only to their families and their
school but also to the superb leadership of their coaches; and

WHEREAS,
The road to victory is a difficult one, requiring ability, endurance,
and a positive attitude on the part of players and coaches alike. The
members of the New Albany High School boys doubles tennis team have
exemplified the characteristics that are essential for success both
in and out of competition, including courage, discipline, integrity,
and good sportsmanship, and their efforts have earned them the
admiration of all those who have witnessed these outstanding athletes
in action; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute the New
Albany High School boys doubles tennis team on its 2025 Division I
State Championship and extend best wishes for the years to come; and
be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the New Albany High School
boys doubles tennis team.
