A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Daniela Scheffler on securing first place at the 2025 Division I
State Track and Field Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Daniela Scheffler on her
performance at the 2025 Division I State Track and Field Meet; and

WHEREAS,
A senior at Lake Middle High School, Daniela Scheffler has combined
talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good
sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional athlete. A
strong competitor, she has worked diligently toward attaining
ultimate proficiency in her events, and as a result, she won first
place in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 10 minutes, 21.82 seconds
and second place in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4 minutes,
47.08 seconds at this year’s Division I State Meet; and

WHEREAS,
Throughout intense training and preparation, Daniela Scheffler has
consistently demonstrated the talent, integrity, and motivation that
are the hallmarks of a true champion. Her unwavering commitment to
excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of many, and she is
certainly deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS,
Daniela Scheffler’s accomplishments and leadership, both in and out
of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding
reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her
coaches, her school, and her community. Indeed, the same maturity and
experience she has gained through her participation in track and
field will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the future;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend
Daniela Scheffler on her personal success and salute her as one of
Ohio’s finest young citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Daniela Scheffler.
