A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Krill Funeral Service on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Krill
Funeral Service on its Sesquicentennial; and

WHEREAS,
Since its establishment in 1875 by the Krill Family, Krill Funeral
Service has earned the respect and appreciation of many area
residents, and it has set an example to which other such enterprises
can aspire. Over the years, it has demonstrated its outstanding
commitment to the highest industry standards without sacrificing
concern and compassion for the bereaved, and it has been dedicated to
its mission of meeting the needs of its clients, which has built it a
reputation as a caring and professional endeavor; and

WHEREAS,
The success of Krill Funeral Service can be attributed to the vision
and foresight of a host of innovative individuals, including its
owner and funeral director, Gary Burr, and all those who have been
involved with its operations are to be applauded on their tremendous
efforts. Clearly, this venture convincingly illustrates how very much
can be accomplished by a group of conscientious people with clear
objectives and firm resolve, and it is through the work of citizens
such as these that Ohio continues to be a pleasant place in which to
live; and

WHEREAS,
Krill Funeral Service has witnessed many changes in the industry over
the past one hundred fifty years, but it has always maintained its
focus on the needs of its customers. Indeed, it has continually
displayed the same signature professionalism and commitment to
quality, and we are confident that this exemplary venture will thrive
for many more decades to come; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to
Krill Funeral Service on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary and
salute it as one of Ohio’s finest businesses; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Krill Funeral Service.
