A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Beau Hesler on winning a 2025 OHSAA Division III State Track and
Field Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Beau
Hesler as the 2025 Ohio High School Athletic Association Division III
State Champion in the 800-meter run; and

WHEREAS,
This accomplishment is truly noteworthy, for Beau Hesler has clearly
demonstrated his talent and perseverance, as well as his mental and
physical fortitude as a runner. As this year’s Division III State
Champion in the 800-meter run with a personal-best and school-record
time of 1:51.78, he has exemplified all of the characteristics that
are essential for success both in and out of the sports world,
including courage, determination, and an innate sense of the
principles of good sportsmanship; and

WHEREAS,
In displaying such outstanding prowess as a member of the North Adams
High School track and field team, as well as the first state champion
in the history of the school, Beau Hesler has earned the appreciation
of his fellow athletes, the devotion of countless fans, and the
respect of even his most determined rivals. We take this opportunity
to acknowledge his exemplary record of achievement; and

WHEREAS,
Running is an event that requires exceptional stamina and natural
ability, and Beau Hesler is to be commended for his commitment to
this demanding activity. In striving to attain his athletic goals, he
has consistently exhibited the skill and integrity that are the
hallmarks of a true champion; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Beau
Hesler as the 2025 OHSAA Division III State Champion in the

800-meter run and salute him as a fine Ohioan; and be it
further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Beau Hesler.
