A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Herlihy Funeral Home on its Centennial.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Herlihy Funeral Home on
the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,
Recognition of this distinguished event is a fitting tribute to
Herlihy Funeral Home for its lasting presence in Mansfield and the
surrounding community throughout the past century. Established by
Joseph Geiger in 1925, this fine venture is now operated by a fourth
generation of the owners, and it has served area families with
unwavering commitment, respect, and integrity; and

WHEREAS,
The success of Herlihy Funeral Home is a justifiable source of pride
and an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but
also on its astute management and hard‑working employees. This
respected establishment has helped countless people cope with the
challenges of losing a loved one by offering support, comfort, and
dignified ceremonies; and

WHEREAS,
Over the years, Herlihy Funeral Home has assisted individuals and
families during bereavement, and in doing so, it has earned a
well-deserved reputation for compassion and dependability. We
are certain that as this noteworthy enterprise maintains an
unfaltering dedication to service and achievement, it will continue
to prosper and will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long
been its hallmark; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend
Herlihy Funeral Home on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best
wishes for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Herlihy Funeral Home.
