A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Tyjon Cousins as the 2025 National Little Brother of the Year.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Tyjon Cousins on being
named the 2025 National Little Brother of the Year by Big Brothers
Big Sisters of America; and

WHEREAS,
Tyjon Cousins is, indeed, a remarkable individual, and he has
certainly combined dedication and resolve in all his endeavors. He
has maintained a positive outlook and developed an enduring
relationship with his Big Brother, Norm Boyd, and it is easy to
understand why his engaging personality and tenacious resolve have
won him the recognition and prestige of being awarded the 2025
National Little Brother of the Year; and

WHEREAS,
Known for being an exceptional young man and ambassador for Big
Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati, Tyjon Cousins has earned
the respect and esteem of many for his strong aspirations, his
commendable concern, and his unparalleled character. Indeed, he has
revealed a capacity for hope, potential, and achievement that
promises to equal virtually any challenge, and he is deserving of
high praise for his enthusiastic efforts; and

WHEREAS,
Tyjon Cousins’ indomitable nature has enabled him to persevere, and
with the help of his Big Brother and others who have offered guidance
and encouragement, he has made a lasting impression by continually
excelling. To his credit, he has shown an inspirational commitment to
better himself, and he can be proud of his success and for prevailing
in the face of adversity; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate
Tyjon Cousins as the 2025 National Little Brother of the Year and
salute him as one of our state’s finest young citizens; and be it
further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Tyjon Cousins.
