A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the St. Paul High School cheer team as the 2025 Division III OHSCCA
State Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize the St. Paul High School
cheer team on winning the 2025 Division III OHSCCA State Championship
in the game day category; and

WHEREAS,
A standout group of young athletes, the members of the St. Paul High
School cheer team have established themselves as truly exceptional
competitors by combining talent and spirit with the highest ideals of
good sportsmanship. With admirable dedication, they have worked
diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in their event, and
as a result, they placed first in the Division III Best in the State
game day category at this year’s OHSCCA State Championship; and

WHEREAS,
The achievements and leadership of the St. Paul High School cheer
team are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on
the members, their families, their school community, and their
coaches. Indeed, these athletes have developed their great talent and
learned valuable lessons of determination, perseverance, and
camaraderie; and

WHEREAS,
With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total
education of our young people, we are pleased to pay tribute to the
exemplary cheerleaders and the outstanding coaches of the St. Paul
High School cheer team for a job well done. We look forward to seeing
what all those associated with the team can accomplish in their
bright futures; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate
the St. Paul High School cheer team on its tremendous season and
praise the members and coaches as some of Ohio’s finest citizens;
and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the St. Paul High School
cheer team.
