A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Madeira High School girls soccer team as the 2025 Division V
State Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Madeira High School
girls soccer team on winning the 2025 Division V State Championship;
and

WHEREAS,
A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the Madeira High
School girls soccer team have established themselves as truly
exceptional competitors by combining talent and spirit with the
highest ideals of good sportsmanship. With admirable dedication, the
Amazons have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency
in soccer, and as a result, they defeated a tough Chippewa team by
the score of 3-0 to win this year’s Division V State Championship,
their second consecutive state title and the third in program
history; and

WHEREAS,
The achievements and leadership of the Madeira High School girls
soccer team are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent
reflection on the players, their families, their school community,
and their head coach, Daniel Brady. Indeed, in leading the team to
victory, Coach Brady has helped these athletes to develop great
talent by instilling the valuable lessons of determination,
perseverance, and camaraderie; and

WHEREAS,
With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total
education of our young people, we are pleased to pay tribute to the
exemplary athletes and the outstanding coach of the Madeira High
School girls soccer team for a job well done. The maturity and
experience the team members have gained through their participation
in sports will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the
future; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the
Madeira High School girls soccer team on its tremendous 2025 season
and salute the members and coach as some of Ohio’s finest citizens;
and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Madeira High School
girls soccer team.
