A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Middletown Rotary Club on its Centennial.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the
Middletown Rotary Club on the celebration of its One Hundredth
Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,
This important milestone provides an ideal time to acknowledge the
exceptional work done by the Middletown Rotary Club. Chartered in
1925 by a group of steadfast individuals who were eager to help their
community develop and prosper, the organization has achieved a
praiseworthy record of service to the area, and its impressive
humanitarian endeavors readily explain why it is so widely held in
high esteem; and

WHEREAS,
All those associated with the Middletown Rotary Club are to be
commended for their foresight and dedication and for giving of their
time, energy, and ability far beyond what was required or expected.
These fine people have gained the appreciation and admiration of
their community, for they have set an example of concerned and
responsible citizenship that is worthy of emulation; and

WHEREAS,
The State of Ohio continues to grow and prosper thanks to the efforts
of organizations such as the Middletown Rotary Club. Over the past
century, this fine group has engaged in an array of worthwhile
projects and events, including participation in goodwill initiatives
and establishing local partnerships to benefit the area, and we look
with optimism to a future that will thrive as a result of its ongoing
success; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to
the Middletown Rotary Club on its One Hundredth Anniversary and
salute its leadership and members as fine Ohioans; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Middletown Rotary Club.
