2026.
BE
IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
WHEREAS,
The month of February is designated in this state and in the nation
as Black History Month to honor and recognize the contributions that
African Americans have made in the history of this state and the

WHEREAS,
Former President Barack Obama served as the forty-fourth president of
the United States and is recognized as the first African American to
serve our country as president; and
WHEREAS,
On February 5, 2026, during Black History Month, President Donald

in a jungle; now therefore be it

General Assembly of the State of Ohio, fully condemn and disapprove
of President Trump's actions and stand against such divisive
