A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Levi Priddy as a 2026 Division II State Swimming Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Levi Priddy on winning
the 2026 Division II State Championship in the 50-yard freestyle; and

WHEREAS,
A senior at River Valley High School, Levi Priddy has combined talent
and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship
to establish himself as a truly exceptional young athlete. With
admirable dedication, he has worked diligently toward attaining
ultimate proficiency in swimming, and as a result, he won first place
in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.21 seconds, securing the
first state championship in school history, and second place in the
100-yard freestyle with a time of 44.76 seconds at this year’s
Division II State Meet; and

WHEREAS,
Levi Priddy’s accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of
competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection
not only on him but also on his family, his teammates, his coaches,
his school, and his community. His unwavering commitment to
excellence has earned him the appreciation and esteem of many, and he
is certainly worthy of acknowledgement; and

WHEREAS,
With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total
education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay
tribute to Levi Priddy on an exemplary season. Indeed, the same
maturity and experience he has gained through his participation in
swimming will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of the
future; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Levi
Priddy on his 2026 Division II State Championship and offer best
wishes for continued success; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Levi Priddy.
