A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Beavercreek High School Air Force JROTC as a 2026 U.S. Air Force
Open Drill Nationals Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Beavercreek High
School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps on winning
the 2026 U.S. Air Force Open Drill Nationals title in the armed and
unarmed divisions; and

WHEREAS,
The Beavercreek High School Air Force JROTC is worthy of recognition
for its outstanding performance in competition. Excelling in both the
armed and unarmed competitions, the team won the national title for
an unprecedented fourth consecutive year, and it has truly proven to
be a credit to the school, the community, and Junior Reserve
Officers’ Training Corps programs across all military service
branches; and

WHEREAS,
A talented group of individuals, the members of the Beavercreek High
School Air Force JROTC have devoted countless hours to rigorous
training and study in order to be in peak mental and physical
condition. Under the direction of their instructors, who bring a
wealth of experience to their posts as retired Air Force commissioned
and noncommissioned officers, the students involved with the
Beavercreek High School Air Force JROTC have confronted competition
with confidence and enthusiasm, and they have distinguished
themselves as worthy young Ohioans; and

WHEREAS,
An accomplishment such as this demonstrates a strong sense of duty,
love of country, and dedication to the ideals of our nation on the
part of the members and leaders of the Beavercreek High School Air
Force JROTC. It is through the hard work, skills, and sacrifices of
Americans like them that the United States remains a proud, strong,
and respected nation, and they are truly deserving of high praise;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, praise the
Beavercreek High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training
Corps on its remarkable success and salute its members as exemplary
citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Beavercreek High School
Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.
