A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Dr. Jo Alice Blondin on her retirement.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Dr. Jo Alice Blondin
on her retirement as president of Clark State College; and

WHEREAS,
Dr. Jo Alice Blondin is to be commended on her distinguished tenure
as the fifth president of Clark State College. Previously serving in
various roles at the Arkansas Tech University Ozark Campus and the
University of Arkansas, she has brought to her role a wealth of
experience and set a laudable example of initiative, diligence, and
resolve in fulfilling a multitude of challenging responsibilities
with dependability and effectiveness; and

WHEREAS,
Dr. Jo Alice Blondin is, indeed, deserving of high praise, for she
has been involved in an array of development projects, collaborative
partnerships, and strategic initiatives that have greatly benefited
Clark State College. Clearly, the esteemed reputation associated with
the college is largely attributable to her productive leadership, and
it is no surprise that her sound judgment, insightful perspective,
and aptitude for creative problem‑solving have won her a host
of admirers; and

WHEREAS,
Whether occupying center stage or playing a key role in the wings,
Dr. Jo Alice Blondin has always made her dynamic, supportive presence
felt. She has demonstrated how very much a highly motivated,
conscientious person can accomplish, and she can be proud that her
unflagging commitment as the president of Clark State College has
impelled many who know her to dedicate themselves similarly;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Dr. Jo
Alice Blondin on her professional excellence at Clark State College
and wish her a future of health and happiness in her retirement; and
be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Dr. Jo Alice Blondin.
