A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Logan Theater on its Centennial.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Logan Theater on the
auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,
Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to the
Logan Theater, for throughout the past century, this fine business
has attained a remarkable record of service to the area. On November
1, 1926, the establishment showed its first movie, and over the
years, it has housed such live entertainment as vaudeville and
musicians, as well as retail stores and community organizations and
programs, entertaining many visitors coming to downtown Logan; and

WHEREAS,
The success of the Logan Theater is a justifiable source of pride and
an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but also on
its astute management and on its hard-working employees. This
respected enterprise has earned the gratitude and appreciation of
many satisfied patrons due to the vision and initiative of its staff,
and it is truly deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS,
Over the years, the Logan Theater has enhanced the quality of life
within the surrounding area. We are certain that as this worthy
establishment maintains its unwavering dedication to service and
achievement, it will continue to prosper and will uphold the
tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be
it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the
Logan Theater on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes
for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Logan Theater.
