A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the National Management Association on its One Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the National
Management Association as it celebrates its One Hundredth
Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,
This is, indeed, an important occasion, and it provides an ideal time
to acknowledge the exceptional work done by the National Management
Association. Since its establishment by Charles F. Kettering in 1925
as the Foreman’s Club, the association has engaged in an array of
worthwhile activities and projects, including offering leadership
development products and creating opportunities that maximize the
potential of its members, sponsoring organizations, and communities,
and its impressive contributions readily explain why it is so widely
held in high esteem; and

WHEREAS,
All those associated with the National Management Association are to
be commended for their foresight, dedication, and selfless donations
of time, energy, and ability far beyond what was required or
expected. These fine people have earned the respect and admiration of
many and have set an example of concerned and responsible citizenship
worthy of emulation; and

WHEREAS,
Founded on the highest ideals of professionalism, the National
Management Association has distinguished itself by its commitment to
excellence. Throughout its history, it has maintained a reputation
for integrity, reliability, and devotion to service, and the
important efforts of its members are deserving of the highest praise;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate
the National Management Association on its Centennial and salute its
staff and members as outstanding citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the National Management
Association.
