A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Iron City Hardware on its One Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Iron City Hardware on the
auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,
Recognition of this prestigious milestone is, indeed, a fitting
tribute to Iron City Hardware, for over the past one hundred years,
this fine business has attained a remarkable record of service to the
area. Since its founding by Herman and Henry Hacker, this
family-owned company has continually demonstrated its exemplary
commitment to the highest industry standards and competitive pricing,
and its dedication to the best interests of its clientele has been
evident in its efforts to remain current for generations of
customers; and

WHEREAS,
The success of Iron City Hardware is a justifiable source of pride
and an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but
also on its astute management, including its third-generation-owner,
Jim Hacker, and its hard-working employees. Their vision and
initiative have earned this respected institution the gratitude and
appreciation of many satisfied customers, and they are truly
deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS,
Over the years, Iron City Hardware has enhanced the quality of life
within the surrounding community and contributed greatly to the
area's economic well-being. We are certain that as this worthy
enterprise maintains its dedication to service and achievement, it
will continue to prosper and will uphold the tradition of excellence
that has long been its hallmark; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate
Iron City Hardware on its Centennial and extend best wishes for the
future; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Iron City Hardware.
