A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Car 1 on its One Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Car 1 on its
Centennial; and

WHEREAS,
Founded by C.J. and John Nofzinger in 1926 as Archbold Auto Wrecking,
Car 1 has continually served its customers with care and dedication.
Throughout the past one hundred years, its management and staff have
consistently demonstrated exemplary professionalism and expertise, as
well as an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest industry
standards; and

WHEREAS,
Through the hard work, dedication, and dependability of each
employee, as well as through the business acumen and leadership
ability of its management, Car 1 has accomplished much, as evidenced
by its many loyal and satisfied clients. Due to the tremendous effort
and initiative displayed by this family-owned company, it has grown
significantly during the past century, and this notable enterprise is
certainly worthy of recognition; and

WHEREAS,
Ohio's economic well-being depends on innovative entrepreneurs to
provide goods and services to the citizens of our state. We are proud
to note that it is through the diligence of individuals who are
willing to invest in the future of their community, including all
those who comprise the Nofzinger and Baus families and have been
associated with Car 1 for four generations, that the State of Ohio
remains a pleasant place in which to live and work; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Car 1
on the occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary and salute it as one
of Ohio's finest businesses; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Car 1.
