hr456_01_AH As Adopted by the House 136th General Assembly Regular Session H. R. No. 456 2025-2026 Representatives Miller, M., Stephens A R E S O L U T I O N Honoring Olivia Fosson as Miss Ohio 2025. WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Olivia Fosson on being crowned Miss Ohio 2025; and WHEREAS, The first Miss Ohio to hail from Lawrence County, a national ambassador for Project HEAL and With All, and a juris doctor candidate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, Olivia Fosson has brought exceptional ability to all of her endeavors. Indeed, as Miss Ohio 2025, she has been entrusted to represent young women throughout the state, and in her unique standing as a native of Appalachia, she has demonstrated a heightened sense of pride in being a role model for young women from rural regions. Olivia Fosson is deserving of this title, which she earned through her operatic performance of "Ah, je ris de me voir" and her community service initiative, Body Neutral: Celebrate, Connect, Create; and WHEREAS, Olivia Fosson's distinctive qualities and engaging personality are invaluable to her reign as Miss Ohio 2025. She has brought enthusiasm, confidence, and intention into promoting her platform for healthy body image and sustainable habits, and her record of accomplishment promises to not only be her legacy but to also be a lasting example for Ohioans of all ages to emulate; and WHEREAS, Olivia Fosson can be proud of attaining this high honor, for in channeling her many strengths towards recognition and success, she has established a foundation for excellence rooted in visionary efforts, talent, intellect, and resolve. We are certain that in being named Miss Ohio 2025, she will embody the principles of this distinguished role and accept each challenge as an opportunity for growth and achievement; therefore be it RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, we celebrate Olivia Fosson as Miss Ohio 2025 and salute her as a fine citizen and an outstanding ambassador for our state; and be it further RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Olivia Fosson.
