A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Caroline Murnan as a 2026 OHSAA Division II State Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend recognition to Caroline Murnan
on earning first place in the 200-meter, the 400-meter, and the
4x800-meter relay events at the 2026 OHSAA Division II State
Championship Meet; and

WHEREAS,
A senior member of the Loveland High School girls track and field
team, Caroline Murnan has combined talent and competitive spirit with
the highest ideals of good sportsmanship, and her athleticism has
proven to be truly exceptional. She worked diligently toward
attaining ultimate proficiency in track and field, and at this year's
OHSAA Division II State Championship Meet, she impressively placed
first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.00 and in the 400-meter
dash with a time of 55.29 and was part of the record-setting
4x800-meter relay team; and

WHEREAS,
Caroline Murnan's accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of
competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding
reflection not only on her but also on her supporters and coaches as
well as on the whole of the Tigers community. Her unwavering
commitment to excellence has earned her the esteem of many, and she
is certainly deserving of admiration for her tremendous efforts
throughout the season; and

WHEREAS,
The determination that Caroline Murnan has exhibited in strengthening
her running prowess befits a true champion. Indeed, the maturity and
experience she has gained through her participation in track and
field will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the future as
she begins her student-athletic career at Butler University;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate
Caroline Murnan on her athletic distinctions and salute her as a fine
young Ohioan; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Caroline Murnan.
