A R E S O L U T I O N

Recognizing
National Health Center Week, August 2-8, 2026.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize August 2-8, 2026, as
National Health Center Week; and

WHEREAS,
National Health Center Week is a fitting time to acknowledge Ohio's
community health centers, for they have attained a remarkable record
of service to our state. Local health offices offer affordable, high
quality, and accessible healthcare for medically underserved
patients, and these indispensable facilities have displayed
exceptional civic concern and dedication in ensuring the continued
well-being of countless Ohioans; and

WHEREAS,
The noteworthy success of Ohio's health centers is attributable
largely to the dedication and expertise of their highly qualified and
committed healthcare professionals, as well as to the innovation and
foresight of their astute management. We are proud to note that it is
through the diligent work of conscientious individuals such as these,
who actively support and promote neighborhood facilities, that our
state remains healthy and thriving; and

WHEREAS,
Ohio's vitality largely depends upon the optimal health and
development of all its citizens, and at no time in the past has
society been so well-equipped to respond to this challenge. Inspiring
trust, confidence, and appreciation, Ohio's community health centers
are a case in point, and clearly, the superb service that has become
their trademark is sure to continue for years to come; therefore be
it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, recognize
August 2-8, 2026, as National Health Center Week and encourage all
citizens to take part in this special observance; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit duly
authenticated copies of this Resolution to the news media of Ohio.
