A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Cameron Lindsey on winning a 2026 Division III State Track and Field
Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Cameron Lindsey as the 2026
Division III State Track and Field Champion in the 3,200-meter run;
and

WHEREAS,
A diligent and capable individual, Cameron Lindsey is deserving of
acknowledgement for his exemplary accomplishments as a senior member
of the Oakwood High School track and field team. At the 2026 Division
III State Meet, he won first place in the 3,200-meter run with a time
of 9:11.8, and his notable record of personal achievement stands as a
hallmark for others; and

WHEREAS,
Through his participation in sports, Cameron Lindsey has learned
important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good
sportsmanship that will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of
the future. Through his outstanding efforts, he has inspired many
people to excel in various areas of endeavor, and he has set an
example worthy of emulation; and

WHEREAS,
In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and
nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of
individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable
educational tool. With sports contributing to the development of
countless youth, we are happy to congratulate such a fine athlete as
Cameron Lindsey; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud
Cameron Lindsey on winning a Division III State Championship and
extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Cameron Lindsey.
