A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Massillon Family YMCA on its Centennial.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Massillon Family
YMCA on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,
Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to the
Massillon Family YMCA, for throughout the last century, it has
attained a remarkable record of service to the area. Since its
establishment in 1925, it has offered a wide variety of facilities
and activities to local citizens of all ages, and its accomplishments
are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not
only on the organization itself but also on its hard-working staff
and volunteers and on its devoted members; and

WHEREAS,
Over the years, the Massillon Family YMCA has enhanced the quality of
life within the surrounding area, and through its generous
contributions, it has earned the respect and gratitude of the many
citizens it has so capably served. We are certain that as this worthy
enterprise maintains its unfaltering dedication to service and
achievement, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has
been the hallmark of the YMCA since its inception; and

WHEREAS,
We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing efforts of
agencies such as the Massillon Family YMCA that Ohio has gained a
reputation as a state that is responsive to the needs of its citizens
and has remained a pleasant place in which to live and work. This
fine establishment is truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the
Massillon Family YMCA on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend
best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Massillon Family YMCA.
