A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Minster High School girls 4x800-meter relay team on winning the
2026 Division V State Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Minster High School girls
4x800-meter relay team as the 2026 Division V State Champion; and

WHEREAS,
The Minster High School girls 4x800-meter relay team has proven to be
a talented and superbly conditioned squad and has gained the respect
of fans and opponents alike for the spirited and highly motivated
performance of its members. Throughout the season, the athletes
worked diligently to improve on the track, and as a result, the
Wildcats accomplished the goal of bringing home this year's Division
V State Championship title with a time of 9:13.93; and

WHEREAS,
Known as a driven and determined group of runners, the Minster High
School girls 4x800‑meter relay team has developed into a
remarkably efficient unit whose skill is equaled only by an exemplary
display of teamwork. Sophia Dirksen, Brynn Bornhorst, Joanna Topp,
and Claire Bohman are a credit not only to their families and their
school, but also to the superb leadership of their coach, Jessie
Magoto; and

WHEREAS,
The road to victory is a difficult one, requiring ability, endurance,
and a positive attitude on the part of the athletes and coaches
alike. The Wildcats have exemplified all of the characteristics that
are essential for success both in and out of competition, including
courage, discipline, integrity, and good sportsmanship, and their
efforts have earned them the admiration of all those who have
witnessed these outstanding athletes in action; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute the
Minster High School girls 4x800-meter relay team on its 2026 Division
V State Championship and extend best wishes for the years to come;
and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Minster High School
girls 4x800-meter relay team.
