A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
Scouting America Scouts BSA Troop 201 on its One Hundredth
Anniversary.
WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Scouting America
Scouts BSA Troop 201 on the celebration of its Centennial, July
31‑August 1, 2026; and
WHEREAS,
Scouts BSA Troop 201 has made a marked impact on generations of young
people in the Olmsted Falls area through its legacy of leadership,
character development, and community service. Since its inception,
the troop has supported local efforts and fostered civic
responsibility through Eagle Scout projects, and its accomplishments
are worthy of emulation; and
WHEREAS,
Founded on the highest ideals of citizenship and service, Scouts BSA
provides a values-based initiative through which the youth of our
country can become conscientious and responsible leaders within their
communities. Over the years, Troop 201 has contributed to the acclaim
that the Scouting program enjoys as one of our nation's largest, most
highly-regarded youth development groups, and it is deserving of
praise; and
WHEREAS,
All those associated with Scouts BSA Troop 201 are to be applauded
for their foresight, dedication, and selfless donations of time,
energy, and ability far beyond what was required or expected. Through
their involvement with a variety of projects and endeavors, they have
earned the respect and admiration of many, and they have set an
example of concerned and responsible citizenship; therefore be it
RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend
Scouting America Scouts BSA Troop 201 on the occasion of its One
Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the future; and be
it further
RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Scouting America Scouts BSA
Troop 201.
