A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Bloom-Carroll High School softball team on winning the 2026
Division III State Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize the Bloom-Carroll High
School softball team as the 2026 Division III State Champion; and

WHEREAS,
The members of the Bloom-Carroll High School softball team are
exemplary athletes, and they have shown themselves to be truly
exceptional competitors. The unwavering commitment of the players and
coaches has earned them the esteem of many, and they are certainly
deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS,
Coach Chris Lucas has demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and
dedication in guiding the Bloom-Carroll High School softball team to
victory, and his skill is reflected in the squad's outstanding
accomplishments. Due largely to his tireless efforts, the members
have distinguished themselves on the diamond, and he has received
respect and admiration from all who know him; and

WHEREAS,
In an educational system that seeks to teach the future leaders of
our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the
rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has
become a valuable tool. By taking part in sports, the members of the
Bloom-Carroll High School softball team have gained discipline and
perseverance that will help them in all aspects of their lives;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to
the Bloom-Carroll High School softball team as the 2026 Division III
State Champion and honor all those who contributed to the success of
this fine squad; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Bloom-Carroll High
School softball team.
