friends of Sergeant Scott Ries on the sorrowful occasion of his
death; and

WHEREAS,
Scott Ries will long be regarded as a remarkable individual who

Scott Ries displayed exceptional civic concern and insight, and his
exemplary efforts will certainly live beyond him. The warmth and

testament to his personal character, and his memory will remain
forever in the hearts of everyone who knew and cherished him; and

WHEREAS,
The ultimate sacrifice that Scott Ries made to protect and serve the
people of Rittman will stand as an enduring monument to him. The
laurels he received in life are a tribute not only to him but also to
those he left behind, and although there are no words to ease the
sadness now felt, there is solace in remembering the outstanding life
that touched so many; therefore be it

That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, express a deep
sense of loss and sincere regret at the passing of Sergeant Scott
