A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Rock Hill High School cheer team as a 2025 OASSA State Cheer
Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Rock Hill High
School cheer team on winning first place in the Division 4 game day
building category at the 2025 Ohio Association of Secondary School
Administrators State Cheer Championship; and

WHEREAS,
A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the Rock Hill
High School cheer team have established themselves as truly
exceptional competitors by combining talent and spirit with the
highest ideals of good sportsmanship. With admirable dedication, the
team members have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate
proficiency in their sport, and as a result, they secured first place
in the Division 4 game day building category at the 2025 OASSA State
Cheer Competition; and

WHEREAS,
The achievements and leadership of the Rock Hill High School cheer
team are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on
the members of the squad, Trinity Matney, Miranda Howard, Ellie Hunt,
Autumn Blankenship, Haleigh Tyson, Savannah Barnes, Kailey Swed,
Haylie Aliff, Kayleigh Sisler, Lexi Craft, Kourtney Jenkins, Jada
Boggs, Laycee Dalton, Bridgette Stapleton, Kassidy Lyons, Rose
Beckett, Taylor Leninger, and Hailey McFann, as well as their
families, their school community, and their coach, Terri Stamper.
Indeed, these athletes have developed determination, perseverance,
and camaraderie that they have displayed proudly in all of their
competitive endeavors; and

WHEREAS,
With athletics playing such an important role in the total education
of our young people, we are pleased to pay tribute to the Rock Hill
High School cheer team for a job well done. The maturity and
experience that these exemplary young Ohioans have gained through
their participation in sports will greatly aid them in meeting the
challenges of the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the
Rock Hill High School cheer team on its tremendous season and salute
the members and coaches as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be
it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Rock Hill High School
cheer team.
