Prevention Month 2025; and

WHEREAS,
The incidents and prevalence of child abuse and neglect have reached
alarming proportions, and in an effort to address this issue,

educational activities and events are coordinated in an effort to
seek and apply solutions to this escalating problem; and

important roles in helping to ensure that our children are safe and
can grow surrounded by love and stability. Every Ohioan has a
responsibility to support children and promote stable families across
our state; and

most valuable resource, our children, and the future of our country
depends on the opportunities we provide them today; therefore be it
