A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Pickerington High School North cheer team as a 2025 OASSA
Division 1 State Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Pickerington High
School North cheer team on securing the 2025 Ohio Association of
Secondary School Administrators Division 1 Non-Building Game Day
State Championship; and

WHEREAS,
The Pickerington High School North cheer team is made up of
tremendous athletes who have worked diligently to showcase the
collective talents of their exceptional squad. At this year’s OASSA
Division 1 State Tournament, the Panthers decisively won the state
crown in the non-building game day category, and the members amply
demonstrated impressive determination, maturity, and finesse in
pursuit of this achievement; and

WHEREAS,
This triumph reflects the staunch resolve of these young individuals
and signifies the acquisition of valuable experience that is sure to
benefit them in later life. Thanks to the tireless efforts of an
exceptional Pickerington High School North cheer team coaching staff,
as well as the support of the Panthers community, these athletes have
met the demands of an extensive training regimen, and they have just
cause for celebration; and

WHEREAS,
All those who comprise the Pickerington High School North cheer team
have set an excellent example of what a dedicated group of athletes
can achieve when guided by a committed coaching staff and surrounded
by loyal fans, sports families, and boosters. These young competitors
have certainly proven themselves to be dynamic athletic leaders, and
we are confident that as they meet future challenges, they will take
with them the valuable lessons they have gained through their
participation in cheerleading; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate
the Pickerington High School North cheer team on its 2025 OASSA
Division 1 State Championship title and count its members and coaches
among the ranks of outstanding Ohioans; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Pickerington High School
North cheer team.
