A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
Reagan Knapp as a 2025 State Wrestling Champion.
WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Reagan Knapp on winning
the 2025 State Wrestling Championship in the 145-pound weight class;
and
WHEREAS,
A senior at Pickerington High School North, Reagan Knapp has combined
talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good
sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional athlete.
With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently to attain
ultimate proficiency in wrestling, and as a result, she won this
year’s State Championship title in the 145-pound weight class,
becoming the first female state champion from Pickerington and the
first state champion in program history; and
WHEREAS,
Reagan Knapp’s accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of
athletic competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an
excellent reflection not only on her but also on her family, her
teammates, her coaches, her school, and her community. Her unwavering
commitment to excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of
many, and she is certainly deserving of high praise; and
WHEREAS,
With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total
education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay tribute to
Reagan Knapp on an exemplary season. Indeed, the same maturity and
experience she has gained through her participation in wrestling will
greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be
it
RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Reagan
Knapp on her personal success and salute her as one of Ohio’s
finest young citizens; and be it further
RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Reagan Knapp.
