A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Vandalia-Butler High School girls bowling team on securing the
2025 Division I State Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Vandalia-Butler High
School girls bowling team as the 2025 Division I State Champion; and

WHEREAS,
The Vandalia-Butler High School girls bowling team is made up of
remarkable athletes who have worked diligently to showcase the
collective talents of their exceptional squad. At this year’s
Division I State Tournament, members Elizabeth Koewler, Sage Malott,
Jolene Powers, Ashlin Conley, Mary Williams, Melayah Burton, Hailei
McQuaid, and Kierstyn Priser amply demonstrated impressive
determination, maturity, and finesse as they secured the state title;
and

WHEREAS,
This triumph reflects the staunch resolve of these young individuals,
and it signifies the acquisition of valuable experience that is sure
to benefit them in later life. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the
Vandalia-Butler High School girls bowling team’s exceptional head
coach, Mark Seelbaugh, these athletes have met the demands of an
extensive training regimen, and they have just cause for celebration;
and

WHEREAS,
All those who comprise the Vandalia-Butler High School girls bowling
team have set an excellent example of what a dedicated group of
athletes can achieve when guided by a committed coaching staff and
surrounded by loyal fans, sports families, and boosters. These young
competitors have certainly proven themselves to be dynamic athletic
leaders, and we are confident that as they meet future challenges,
they will take with them the valuable lessons they have gained
through their participation in bowling; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate
the Vandalia-Butler High School girls bowling team on its 2025
Division I State Championship title and count its members and coaches
among the ranks of outstanding Ohioans; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Vandalia-Butler High
School girls bowling team.
