A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Seton High School varsity dance team on winning a 2025 UDA
National Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Seton High School varsity
dance team as the 2025 UDA National Champion in the Division II small
pom category; and

WHEREAS,
At this year’s UDA National Championships in Orlando, Florida, the
members of the Seton High School varsity dance team rose to the
occasion and proved themselves to be a dynamic group with their score
of 90.4375 to claim the Small Varsity Division II pom title, and in
addition, they placed seventh in the hip hop category of their
division. Truly, these outstanding athletes can be proud of the
accomplishments that were hard-won and well‑deserved; and

WHEREAS,
With great admiration, we congratulate the athletes who comprise the
Seton High School varsity dance team, for they have overcome many
obstacles and displayed tremendous prowess. Indeed, we are confident
that as they meet the challenges ahead, they will take with them the
lessons of comradery, diligence, and discipline; and

WHEREAS,
In an educational system that seeks to teach the future leaders of
our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the
rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has
become a valuable tool. By taking part in this exciting activity, the
members of the Seton High School varsity dance team have gained
discipline and perseverance that will help them in all aspects of
their lives; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute the
Seton High School varsity dance team on its national championship
title and honor all those who contributed to the success of this fine
squad; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Seton High School
varsity dance team.
