A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Graham High School boys wrestling team as the 2025 Division III
State Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the
Graham High School boys wrestling team on securing the 2025 Division
III State Championship; and

WHEREAS,
The Graham High School boys wrestling team has achieved a tremendous
feat in winning its twenty-fourth consecutive state crown, the
twenty-sixth in program history, and the culmination of an exemplary
season was marked by setting a state record 174.5 points in the
final. The Falcons’ strong performance, combined with an adept
drive to succeed, has led the squad to this outstanding victory, and
the group has earned the appreciation and admiration of many; and

WHEREAS,
The accomplishments and development of the Graham High School boys
wrestling team are fine examples of what can be attained by a group
of hard-working young people supported by a dedicated coaching staff
and by exemplary boosters. Throughout extensive conditioning and
training, the members have developed into dynamic competitors, and
they are deserving of acknowledgement; and

WHEREAS,
With great admiration, we congratulate the athletes who comprise the
Graham High School boys wrestling team, for they have overcome many
formidable opponents and displayed tremendous prowess. Indeed, we are
confident that as they meet their future challenges, they will take
with them the lessons of comradery, diligence, and discipline;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, heartily
applaud the Graham High School boys wrestling team on its state
championship and praise the strength of this program and its
participating athletes; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Graham High School boys
wrestling team.
