A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Evan Wierwille on securing a 2025 Division II State Swimming
Championship.

WHEREAS,
The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Evan Wierwille as a
2025 Division II State Swimming Champion in the 100-yard backstroke
para event; and

WHEREAS,
Displaying exceptional form, ability, leadership, and dedication as a
freshman member of the Centerville High School swim team, Evan
Wierwille has certainly distinguished himself as one of the most
talented swimmers in Ohio. At this year’s Division II State meet,
he won first place in the 100-yard backstroke para event with a time
of 1:09.14 and second place in the 50-yard freestyle para event with
a time of 27.32; and

WHEREAS,
Evan Wierwille has conscientiously applied himself to the quest for
excellence as an athlete, training and practicing diligently in order
to ensure peak conditioning. Time and again, he has risen to the
occasion, maintaining his morale, composure, and good sportsmanship,
and he has gained the respect of even his most determined rivals; and

WHEREAS,
Evan Wierwille has consistently exhibited strength, speed, and
stamina in his impressive athletic encounters, and by amply
demonstrating his unflagging determination, he has set an example for
others to emulate. Indeed, he is an exemplary competitor, and his
resolve to achieve state champion status is deserving of esteem;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, honor Evan
Wierwille on his outstanding achievement and extend best wishes for
the years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Evan Wierwille.
