A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
Jordan Gross on winning a 2025 Adidas Indoor Track Nationals
Championship.
WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to commend Jordan Gross as the 2025 Adidas Indoor Track
Nationals Champion in the 60-meter dash; and
WHEREAS,
Jordan Gross’s outstanding ability and spirited drive, as well as
his quickness and tenacity, have distinguished him as a superior
athlete and an exemplary member of the Butler High School track and
field team. At this year’s Adidas Indoor Track Nationals, he placed
first in the 60‑meter dash with a time of 6.77 seconds, and he
has gained the respect and admiration of all those who have witnessed
him in action; and
WHEREAS,
Few sports embody the spirit of individual accomplishment more than
running. Athletes such as Jordan Gross exemplify the qualities
necessary for excellence in any sport, including discipline, agility,
conditioning, and focus. Indeed, throughout long hours of practice
and competition, he has consistently demonstrated the talent and
motivation that are the hallmarks of a true competitor; and
WHEREAS,
Through his participation in sports, Jordan Gross has learned lessons
of perseverance, hard work, and fair and honest competition that will
undoubtedly be of great benefit to him throughout his lifetime. Time
and again, he has risen to the occasion, maintaining his morale,
composure, and good sportsmanship, and he has set a fine example that
is sure to inspire future generations; therefore be it
RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Jordan Gross on his
outstanding performance at the Adidas Indoor Track Nationals
competition and offer best wishes for success as he continues his
career at Marshall University; and be it further
RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Jordan Gross.
