A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Elyria Middle School The Fantastic Four robotics team as the 2025
VEXIQ Robotics Competition Ohio State Champion.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to congratulate the Elyria Middle School The Fantastic Four
robotics team on winning the 2025 Ohio VEXIQ Robotics Competition
Championship; and

WHEREAS,
The seventh-grade students who comprise the Elyria Middle School The
Fantastic Four robotics team are remarkable young individuals,
combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to
establish themselves as truly exemplary minds. With commendable
dedication, members Chuckie Hood, Trenton Csata, Zack Bickley, and
Jayden Jordan designed, engineered, and programmed a robot to
complete assigned tasks within a time limit, and at this year’s
Ohio VEXIQ Robotics competition, they secured the championship title,
the Middle School IQ Sportsmanship Award, and a berth at the Vex
World Championship; and

WHEREAS,
Through practice and preparation, the members of the Elyria Middle
School The Fantastic Four robotics team have displayed determination
and motivation of which they can be proud, and the squad’s efforts
are truly admirable. The enthusiasm and expertise these promising
students have shown in all of their endeavors have earned them the
respect and esteem of many; and

WHEREAS,
The accomplishments of the Elyria Middle School The Fantastic Four
robotics team are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection
not only on the participants but also on their families, on their
coaches, Jenn Smith and Jeannine Stape, on the program lead, Mike
West, and on the entire community. We are certain that the maturity
and experience the students have gained through their success in
robotics competitions will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges
of the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Elyria Middle School
The Fantastic Four robotics team on its remarkable attainment and
extend best wishes for continued achievement; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to the Elyria Middle School The Fantastic Four
robotics team.
