A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Krill Funeral Service on its Sesquicentennial.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to congratulate Krill Funeral Service on the auspicious
occasion of its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,
Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to
Krill Funeral Service, for throughout the past century and a half, it
has attained a remarkable record of professionalism. Founded by the
Krill family in 1875 as an offshoot of a furniture business, this
fine venture is now the largest funeral provider in Williams County,
with locations operating in Edgerton, Edon, and Bryan, and over the
years, it has expanded on its support for all forms of family loss;
and

WHEREAS,
The success of Krill Funeral Service is a justifiable source of pride
and an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but
also on its astute management and hard‑working employees.
Offering support, comfort, and dignified ceremonies for its clients,
this outstanding establishment has helped countless people cope with
one of the most difficult parts of their lives, the death of a loved
one; and

WHEREAS,
Time and again, Krill Funeral Service has earned a well-deserved
reputation for compassion by providing assistance and concern to
individuals and families in their time of bereavement. This
noteworthy enterprise has maintained an unfaltering investment in the
community for one hundred fifty years, and we are certain that it
will continue to uphold the tradition of excellence that has long
been its hallmark; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Krill Funeral Service on
its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary and salute it as a fine Ohio
endeavor; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Krill Funeral Service.
