A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
the Mansfield Playhouse on its Centennial.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to congratulate the Mansfield Playhouse on the auspicious
occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,
Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to the
Mansfield Playhouse, for throughout the past century, it has attained
a remarkable record of service to the Mansfield area. Since its
opening in 1925, this fine facility has continued to maintain the
flexibility necessary to meet the changing needs of its patrons and
has gained the loyalty of a diverse audience; and

WHEREAS,
The success of the Mansfield Playhouse is a justifiable source of
pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the venture itself
but also on its astute management, on its hard-working employees, and
on all those who have supported its endeavors. This respected
enterprise has earned the gratitude and appreciation of many due to
the vision and initiative of its staff, and it is truly deserving of
high praise; and

WHEREAS,
Over the years, the Mansfield Playhouse has enhanced the quality of
life within the surrounding area. We are certain that as this worthy
establishment maintains its unwavering dedication to service and
achievement, it will continue to prosper and will uphold the
tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be
it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Mansfield Playhouse on
its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the future;
and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to the Mansfield Playhouse.
