A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Ricardo DeLaSerda, Jr. on his retirement from Ohio Legislative
Information Systems.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to congratulate Ricardo DeLaSerda, Jr., on retiring from Ohio
Legislative Information Systems; and

WHEREAS,
Rick DeLaSerda is a truly remarkable individual, for he has combined
civic concern and diligence with selfless initiative to become an
invaluable asset to Ohio Legislative Information Systems. Joining the
agency in 2000, he has brought to LIS a wealth of experience gained
as a computer engineer with Texas Instruments for twenty-four years.
Indeed, he has performed his duties and fulfilled his
responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence across his
two and a half decades of distinguished and outstanding public
service; and

WHEREAS,
Throughout his career, Rick DeLaSerda has given generously of his
time, energy, and abilities to assist the Ohio General Assembly, and
he has displayed a noteworthy dedication to the success of state
government. He has provided a valuable service by helping to maintain
the efficiency and effectiveness of the legislative process, and he
is deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS,
We are proud to note that it is through the unsurpassed efforts and
deep commitment of conscientious people such as Rick DeLaSerda that
the State of Ohio continues to prosper. Over the years, he has
striven to serve his fellow citizens to the best of his ability, and
we applaud him on his fine work; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Rick DeLaSerda, Jr., on
the occasion of his retirement and offer best wishes for peace and
prosperity in the years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Ricardo DeLaSerda, Jr.
