A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Addie Kash on winning the 2025 OHSAA Division II State Championship
in the girls pole vault.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to congratulate Addie Kash as the 2025 Ohio High School
Athletic Association Division II State Champion in the girls pole
vault; and

WHEREAS,
A junior at Oakwood High School, Addie Kash has combined talent and
competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to
establish herself as a truly exceptional athlete. With admirable
dedication, she has worked diligently toward attaining ultimate
proficiency in her sport, and as a result, she won first place in the
pole vault with a mark of 12 feet, 4 inches at this year’s OHSAA
Division II State Meet; and

WHEREAS,
Addie Kash’s accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of
competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding
reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her
coaches, her school, and her community. Her unwavering commitment to
excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of many, and she is
certainly worthy of high praise; and

WHEREAS,
With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total
education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay tribute to
Addie Kash on an exemplary season. Indeed, the maturity and
experience she has gained through competition will aid her in meeting
the challenges of the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Addie Kash on her Division
II State championship and look with optimism to her ongoing success;
and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Addie Kash.
