A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring
Logan Wilkins as a 2025 Division I State Champion in track and field.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to congratulate Logan Wilkins on winning the 110-meter
hurdles at the 2025 Division I State Track and Field Meet; and

WHEREAS,
A student at Fairmont High School, Logan Wilkins has combined talent
and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship
to establish himself as a truly exceptional athlete. A strong
competitor, he has worked diligently toward attaining ultimate
proficiency in track and field, and as a result, he placed first in
the 110-meter hurdles at this year’s Division I State Meet; and

WHEREAS,
Throughout intense training and preparation, Logan Wilkins has
consistently demonstrated the talent, integrity, and motivation that
are the hallmarks of a true champion. His unwavering commitment to
excellence has earned him the respect and esteem of many, and he is
certainly deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS,
Logan Wilkins’ accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of
competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding
reflection not only on him but also on his family, his teammates, his
coaches, his school, and his community. Indeed, the same maturity and
experience he has gained through his participation in track and field
will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of the future;
therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Logan Wilkins on his
personal success and salute him as one of Ohio’s finest young
citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED,
That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of
this Resolution to Logan Wilkins.
