A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring

The Budget
on its One Hundred Thirty-fifth Anniversary.

WHEREAS,
The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are
pleased to extend special recognition to
The Budget
on the
memorable occasion of its One Hundred Thirty-fifth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,

The Budget
is, indeed, deserving of high praise, for
throughout thirteen and a half decades of operation, this fine
newspaper has attained a noteworthy record of service not only to the
Sugarcreek area but also to the Amish and Mennonite communities
throughout the nation that are served by the publication. Indeed, the
paper has gained the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied
readers, and its success is a justifiable source of pride and an
outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but also on
its owners, on its employees, and on the many volunteer scribes who
contribute to its success; and

WHEREAS,
Since its establishment,
The Budget
has experienced tremendous
prosperity, and it has continually demonstrated its exemplary
commitment to the highest standards of journalism, impartial
reporting, and competitive pricing. Indeed, its dedication to the
best interests of its audience has been evident in all its efforts;
and

WHEREAS,
The success of
The Budget
can be attributed to the vision and
foresight of a host of innovative individuals, and all those who have
been involved with its operations are to be applauded on their
tremendous efforts. Indeed, this venture convincingly demonstrates
how very much can be accomplished by a group of conscientious people
with clear objectives and firm resolve, and it is through the work of
citizens such as these that Ohio continues to be a pleasant place in
which to live; therefore be it

RESOLVED,
That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of
Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to
The Budget

on its One Hundred Thirty-fifth Anniversary and extend best wishes
for continued success; and be it further
